My sweet big boy’s teacher asked me to help out and make a pumpkin for her class to auction at the festival they are having for his school this weekend. It’s my first “teacher asks mommy to make…” project, and I was a little nervous! She gave me carte blanche, and since dinosaurs are the favorite thing around here right now, we decided to make ours into a stegosaurus.
A quick trip to Hobby Lobby yielded the foam pumpkin, leaves and acorns. My big boy helped me figure out where to put the head and tail, and how big to make each. He even helped paint the wooden leaves we used as plates for the back. He was a good helper for this one!
I think she turned out really cute!
Now back to frantically sewing for the Mistletoe Market! Happy Wednesday!
